The ISOMETER is used for DC charging stations in accordance with the Japanese CHAdeMO charging standard for voltages between DC 50 V and 500 V. Single-pole insulation faults are reported with a response time ≤ 1 second. Two-pole insulation faults within 10 seconds. The maximum permissible system leakage capacitance Ce is 2 μF.

Individual parameterization must always be carried out on site to adapt to the system and operating conditions in order to meet the requirements of the standards.

Observe the limits of the application range specified in the technical data. Any other use or use beyond this is considered improper use.

Functions and features:

- Monitoring the insulation resistance of DC charging stations in accordance with the Japanese CHAdeMO charging standard

- Detection of single-pole insulation faults in the DC mains voltage range between 50 V and 500 V within 1 s

- Detection of two-pole insulation faults within 10 s

- Measurement of the mains voltage (true r.m.s) with undervoltage/overvoltage detection

- Measurement of DC voltages mains to earth (L+/PE and L-/PE)

- Automatic adjustment to the mains leakage capacitance up to 2 μF

- Start-up, response and release delay adjustable

- Two separately adjustable response value ranges from 5...250 kΩ (alarm 1, alarm 2)

- Alarms are output via LEDs (AL1, AL2), a display and alarm relays (K1, K2)

- Automatic device self-test with connection monitoring

- Quiescent or operating current behavior of the relays selectable

- Measured value display via multifunctional LC display

- Fault memory can be activated

- RS-485 (galvanically isolated) with the following protocols:

- BMS interface (Bender measuring device interface) for data exchange with other Bender components

- Modbus RTU

- IsoData (for continuous data output)

- Password protection against unauthorized changes to parameters
