RFID module with integrated status LEDs and amplified antenna power
The RFID module is a separate board that simplifies the interaction between the user and the charging system and complies with ISO14443A/MIFARE. It can be connected via a standard RJ45 cable to the charge controller, which is the main component of the charging system.
The charging process is started by holding a valid RFID card registered in a backend system to the reader on the RFID module. The charging process of the vehicle starts when the switch in the charging system is closed. In offline mode, the charge controller can either allow charging without authorization or it can authorize the user based on RFID and a local "white list" of authorized RFID cards.
