M-Bus Plus + (Full) module for energy
Product description
M-Bus is a common standard for remote reading of electricity meters and several sensors. The interface is supplied via the bus itself, which receives the measured variables from the meter via an IR optical interface. The only electrical connection that needs to be made is the bus cable connection (normal telephone cable). The interface can be used for single-phase and three-phase e.g. energy meters and other measuring devices.
In addition to reading energy and power-related parameters, this energy meter enables the recording of other electrical measured variables (voltage, current, frequency, cosw.). Status bytes are available with data on the measuring instrument and the load (current tariff, exceeding the nominal values of the measuring instrument in voltage and current).
Functional note:
The readout and selection of the measured values to be transmitted is defined by parameterization.
Data is transferred from the meter to the module via the built-in infrared interface.
Suitable for all energy meters of the HC series from Optec.
