Our partner: Herholdt Controls
Energy meters are as indispensable to Optec AG's product range as the foundations of a building. Andreas Muffler already relied on these products when Optec AG was founded. At that time, however, the meters were considerably more expensive and mechanically equipped with roller counters.
Andreas Muffler remembers: "In my search for a strong partner, I came across the company Herholdt. At that time, they were still specialized in brand labeling and did not sell their products directly. Their customers included well-known companies, while we as Optec were still a small customer at the time."
"Thanks to their many years of expertise, an active R&D department and the use of state-of-the-art CTFs (Customer Testing Facilities) Testing facilities) in their in-house certified laboratory, they ensure Quality and MID certification, even when renewing the range certification for new additions to the range." (Dominic Locher)
Today, after more than 24 years of partnership, we are one of their largest customers for electronic meters.
A few years ago, in 2017, the Herholdt Group was sold to the Hager Group in Alsace, France.
