Product description
The VMD461 multifunctional voltage monitoring relay monitors frequencies, undervoltages and overvoltages in DC, AC and 3(N)AC systems. The phase and/or phase-to-phase voltages are measured as an effective value and permanently shown on the device display. The measured value leading to the switching of the alarm relays is stored.
The VMD461 is equipped with additional measuring functions for:
- ROCOF df/dt
- Vector step monitoring
- Unbalance monitoring
- rotating field monitoring
equipped. The corresponding ANSI codes are stored for all available measuring functions.
Special system-related characteristics (e.g. device-specific start-up phases) can be taken into account by means of adjustable delay times. The VMD461 requires a separate supply voltage.
The optional use of the CD440 coupling device extends the monitorable voltage range to DC/3AC 1200 V or 1AC/3NAC 690 V.
