The new type of residual current monitoring.

The new type of residual current monitoring.

LINETRAXX® SmartDetect RCMS410

4 channels in a compact housing

The LINETRAXX® SmartDetect RCMS410 is a powerful and compact monitoring device with four channels for residual currents that is used in earthed power supply systems. It detects DC, AC and pulse current sensitive residual currents in the range from 2 mA to 70 A with DC voltage as well as AC voltage with frequencies from 15 Hz to 20 kHz. The RCMS410 was developed for flexible use in various applications.

Despite its compact design, the RCMS410 offers high performance. It can monitor up to four residual current channels simultaneously. Individual threshold values can be set for pre-warnings, main alarms and RMS values for AC and DC components. The device has special analysis functions that can detect harmonics up to the 400th harmonic.

In addition to the four residual current inputs, the RCMS410 has a digital input, a digital output and a multifunctional bidirectional interface (IO). The residual current inputs require the connection of suitable measuring current transformers (e.g. CTUB100 series and CTAC series).

Thanks to its wide range of interfaces, the RCMS410 can be easily integrated into new and existing electrical systems. Among other things, a Modbus RTU interface is available, which is also used by other providers.

The display and operating elements of the RCMS410 are reduced to the essentials. LEDs in different colors indicate the current status of the device and the system. There is also a test/reset button. The parameters required for the electrical system can be set either via Modbus RTU or via the NFC interface using the Bender Connect app, even when the device is switched off. It is also possible to use factory-set operating parameters.

Easy to configure - via app

The Bender Connect app can be used to configure individual response values, Modbus addresses, time delays and relay functions. Configuration can already be carried out in a de-energized state before commissioning or even before installation. The serial and article number, device name and other information can be read via the Bender app and used for system documentation. Cloning is also very easy: for recurring configurations, a template created once can be uploaded to any number of devices.
