Little space required but plenty of power
It is becoming increasingly important for components to be smaller and more powerful in order to meet the growing demands in control cabinet and machine construction for more and more components in less and less space. At just 18 mm wide, the iso415R is only as wide as a circuit breaker and therefore very compact. It is significantly narrower than other products and is ideal for tight spaces. Despite its small size, the connection to earth is double. This connection is monitored and an alarm is triggered immediately in the event of an interruption. This also applies to the connection to the monitored network.
Maximum ease of use
It is particularly easy to install and operate. Settings can be easily configured using the rotary switch on the front panel. In the "Ext" switch position, individual values can be set via the interface or app. There is also a combined test/reset button on the front panel. The ISOMETER® naturally meets the requirements of the current standard for insulation monitoring devices IEC 61557-8 and the European Machinery Directive.
Easy to configure - via app
The Bender Connect app can be used to configure individual response values, Modbus addresses, time delays and relay functions. Configuration can already be carried out in a de-energized state before commissioning or even before installation. The serial and article number, device name and other information can be read via the Bender app and used for system documentation. Cloning is also very easy: for recurring configurations, a template created once can be uploaded to any number of devices.
Connect with Modbus RTU and NFC
The iso415R has a wired Modbus RTU interface and a relay contact. This Modbus RTU interface is a reliable solution for bus communication and secure data transport. The classic relay for alarm signaling ensures compatibility with existing systems. The iso415R can also be connected to a smartphone via Near Field Communication (NFC) and configured using the Bender Connect app. This also works in a de-energized state.
