Nowadays, in addition to various incentives offered by the employer to its employees, the provision of alternative mobility to conventional fuel-powered vehicles is also a decisive factor.
We were approached by the technical service of an industrial manufacturing company with the need for three charging stations. The company's aim is to offer visitors and employees the opportunity to charge their electric or hybrid vehicles.
Conditions on site
- Parking spaces are located outdoors. IP protection and weather resistance must therefore be guaranteed.
- The limited power output should not be increased or exceeded. For this reason, it makes sense to integrate a load management system.
- It should be possible to check whether the charging stations are used a lot or a little. An appropriate monitoring system provides clarity here.
Our solution and the benefits for the customer
With our free-standing LS4 double station (2 x 22 Kw), we were able to meet all customer requirements. Thanks to its high weather resistance and the subsequent implementation of dynamic load management (DLM), the LS4 charging solution is the perfect product for this application. We were also able to fulfill the request for the backend system. With our system, we are able to implement more than 27 different providers on the station. This gives the customer a free choice of provider.
The stations have been operating successfully for some time and the satisfied customer is ready for the future with electromobility. They can install load management or additional stations at any time.
