In contrast to online stores that offer energy management products, we at Optec attach great importance to comprehensive advice and support. Each product is individually adapted to the needs of our customers and adjusted by us if necessary. Even after commissioning, we provide our customers with advice and support. Depending on the scope of the project, we support our customers from the initial planning phase through to full commissioning. As a solution partner, we therefore offer a comprehensive service.

Raffael, what service do we offer our customers?

We attach great importance to customized programming.

You know the warehouse and customer requirements inside out. When it comes to product settings, you are our expert. What individual adjustments do we make to best meet specific requirements?

True to the motto "Your wishes, our service", we at Optec AG offer customized programming for the devices purchased from us.


Individual adaptations according to customer requirements Our services include customized programming tailored to the specific requirements of our customers. A common example: If a customer orders RX current transformers, we adapt the current transformer ratio to the customer's requirements on the UMG - only if this is requested, of course.


Personalized address and IP settings The address and IP settings as well as the naming on the UMG are usually made according to the company address and customer name. Our customers often prefer the name on the UMG to reflect the installation location of the device, for example "Transformer station XY".


Individual settings for all devices We only make all settings, including address and IP configuration and naming, at the express request of the customer. This applies to all our devices, provided the customer explicitly specifies this.


General configurations on request We also offer general settings according to the desired configurations of our customers. Our aim is to meet your requirements in the best possible way and thus offer you the greatest possible benefit from our products.

How do I as a customer benefit from individual programming?

As a customer, you have numerous advantages. The most important are


  • Immediately ready for use: Devices with preset transducers record correct measurement data immediately after installation.
  • Simple integration: Devices with preset addresses can be integrated directly into existing software solutions such as GridVis or building management systems.
  • Customer-specific parameterization: All devices are already preconfigured according to our customers' requirements.

What additional services do we offer in addition to customized programming?

In addition to customized programming, we at Optec AG offer a variety of other services to meet customer needs:


  • Repair service: our expert team is on hand to repair devices quickly and reliably.
  • Calibration: We ensure that your measuring devices always work precisely and correctly.
  • Express deliveries: When time is of the essence, we offer the option of express delivery.
  • Support for queries: Our competent customer support is available for queries and assistance.
  • Delivery tracking: The status of the delivery can be checked with our handy tracking function.
